Best Practices

Choosing What to Track

  1. Start with Big 9 - Required and most common
  2. Add based on menu - Track what’s relevant to your cuisine
  3. Consider your region - Some areas require more allergens
  4. Ask your diners - What do they need to know?

Maintaining Settings

  1. Review quarterly - Are tracked allergens still relevant?
  2. Update seasonally - Seasonal menus may need different allergens
  3. Train on changes - Staff should know when tracking changes
